The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested 75 individuals during two simultaneous Oplan Bulabog operations on the night of February 7, 2026, aimed at enforcing local ordinances and maintaining public order, the police reported Sunday.
One operation was conducted in Sitio San Roque, Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, led by QCPD Director PBGEN Randy Glenn Silvio, while the other took place in Barangay San Martin de Porres, Cubao, under Deputy District Director for Administration PCOL Joel Villanueva.
The operations involved house-to-house checks, mobile and foot patrols, on-site identity verification, profiling of suspicious individuals, coordination with local informants, and the service of warrants.
In Sitio San Roque, PBGEN Silvio was joined by police officers and personnel from multiple units, as well as volunteer barangay officials. The operation resulted in the arrest of one individual with an outstanding warrant for theft. Twenty-eight others received Ordinance Violation Receipts (OVRs) for minor public infractions, four were issued Traffic Violation Receipts (TVRs), and two had alerts in the Investigation Solution Automatic Verification (ISAV) system.
In Cubao, PCOL Villanueva and his team apprehended 43 individuals for offenses including smoking and drinking in public, traffic violations, and failure to wear helmets. Three motorcycles were also impounded during the operation.
All city ordinance violators were issued OVRs on-site. The impounded motorcycles remain under the custody of the appropriate police unit.
The QCPD said the operations are part of ongoing efforts to maintain order and ensure compliance with city regulations.
