The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested 34 wanted individuals, including seven Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWPs), nine other Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), and 18 Other Wanted Persons (OWPs), during “Warrant Day” operations on February 6, 2026, the police reported Sunday.
The operations were conducted under the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) agenda of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. and the Triple A Program of NCRPO Regional Director PMGEN Anthony Aberin.
The Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) led several high-profile arrests, including two district-level MWPs identified as alias “Rustine,” 23, for rape, and alias “Alex,” 67, for acts of lasciviousness, both in Quezon City.
CIDU, together with Eastwood Police Station 12, also arrested alias “Pepe,” another district-level MWP, for acts of lasciviousness in Fairview, Quezon City.
Other arrests included alias “Jhun Mark,” 20, of La Loma Police Station 1 for a violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act; alias “Ben,” resident of Masambong Police Station 2, for illegal number games and pending violence-against-women charges; and alias “Francis,” 44, of Anonas Police Station 9 for homicide.
Holy Spirit Police Station 14 arrested its No. 7 MWP, alias “John,” 31, for a previous violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. Most of the arrested individuals were verified to have prior offenses related to their current warrants.
The QCPD said the respective courts will be notified regarding the arrests, which form part of ongoing efforts to enforce the law and maintain public safety in Quezon City.
