The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) held the second fund-raising activity under its “Mahal Ko, Mahalin Mo” program on Wednesday at the QCPD Grandstand. The event coincided with preparations for Valentine’s Day on February 14.
The initiative encouraged QCPD personnel to donate pre-loved items, with proceeds supporting women, children, and other vulnerable members of the community.
Funds collected will benefit the QCPD Kids Care and Damayan Program, as well as partner foundations.
The activity highlighted the role of community-based programs in extending support to those in need while fostering cooperation among police personnel.
Participants said the fund drive is intended to promote acts of giving and shared responsibility, particularly ahead of Valentine’s Day.
The program is part of ongoing efforts by the QCPD to combine public service with community engagement and welfare initiatives.
