MYEG Philippines, Inc. and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority have renewed their partnership in a move aimed at further simplifying government transactions and strengthening the ease of doing business for PEZA-registered locators across the country.

The renewed collaboration underscores both institutions’ shared commitment to digitalization, efficiency, and investor-friendly public service delivery.

The partnership renewal was formalized during a signing ceremony on January 28, 2026, at the PEZA headquarters in DoubleDragon, Pasay City. The agreement was signed by MYEG PH Chief Executive Officer Ann Margaret T. Saldaña and PEZA Director-General Tereso O. Panga, with MYEG PH IT Business Project Manager Elmer B. Dequilla and PEZA Deputy Director General for Policy and Planning Anidelle Joy M. Alguso serving as witnesses.

Through the renewed agreement, MYEG Philippines, Inc. and Philippine Economic Zone Authority reaffirm their commitment to streamlining payment processes for PEZA-related fees.

The initiative supports the government’s Ease of Doing Business agenda by reducing administrative friction, enabling faster compliance, and allowing locators to focus more on operations and growth within economic zones.

Saldaña said the continued partnership reflects MYEG’s long-term commitment to modernizing government transactions through accessible and secure digital platforms.

She noted that expanding digital payment options for PEZA fees gives locators greater flexibility and convenience, helping businesses meet their obligations seamlessly while operating in an increasingly digital economy.

Panga, for his part, highlighted the importance of digital partnerships in strengthening PEZA’s one-stop, nonstop shop service. He said leveraging cashless and paperless systems improves service delivery, enhances transparency, and reinforces the Philippines’ competitiveness as an investment destination, particularly for export-oriented and technology-driven enterprises.

Under the renewed partnership, PEZA locators will continue to access more than 100,000 payment channels nationwide through MYEG’s extensive network. These include e-wallets such as GCash, ShopeePay, PalawanPay, GrabPay, and Maya; online bank transfers via BDO, BPI, RCBC, UnionBank, and Maybank; and credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and JCB.

Cash payments remain available through over-the-counter partners such as Cebuana Lhuillier, Palawan Express, Bayad Center, 7-Eleven, SM Malls, Robinsons Department Stores, Tambunting Pawnshop, RD Pawnshop, and other outlets.

To further accommodate business needs, locators may also settle fees using corporate bank accounts or check payments through partner banks such as BDO and RCBC. Payments via QRPh are likewise supported, allowing transactions across participating banks and e-wallets including AllBank, PSBank, eCebuana, QueenBank, Sterling Bank of Asia, MariBank, GoTyme Bank, AUB, and other QRPh-enabled institutions.

The renewed partnership reflects both organizations’ focus on continuous innovation in public service delivery, ensuring that PEZA locators benefit from faster, more reliable, and more convenient government transactions as the country accelerates its digital transformation.
