The Miss World Organization has announced a new format for the upcoming Miss World 2025 pageant, which will take place on May 31 in India. Out of 108 contestants, only 40 will advance to the quarterfinals. These candidates will come from four continental regions: Africa, Americas & the Caribbean, Asia & Oceania, and Europe.
The Top 40 will include winners from the Fast-Track events such as Beauty with a Purpose, Talent, Top Model, Sports, and Multimedia, who will qualify regardless of their region.
Judges will then select a Top 5 from each region, which will be narrowed down to a Top 2—one winner and one runner-up per continent. These eight finalists will move forward to compete for the Miss World title.
The Top 2 from each continent will vie for a spot in the overall Top 4. Judges will crown one continental winner from each region, and these four will make up the final placements: Miss World 2025, first runner-up, second runner-up, and third runner-up.
If the Miss World titleholder is from a region, her regional runner-up will automatically be promoted to Continental Winner.
Krishnah Gravidez will represent the Philippines and aim for the country’s second Miss World crown after Megan Young’s win in 2013. She will compete against strong contenders, including Thailand’s Opal Suchata, who placed third runner-up in Miss Universe 2024.
