QUANZHOU, China — Global kitchen and bathroom solutions manufacturer JOMOO Group Co., Ltd. plans to open four additional showrooms in the Philippines as it seeks to strengthen its presence in the growing market for smart, energy-efficient home technologies.
JOMOO Philippines Marketing Manager Janna Diño said the expansion forms part of the company’s strategy to increase brand awareness through physical retail stores and digital platforms.
“Our goal for next year is expansion and for people to know more about the brand through our retail stores and also online. And definitely, you will be seeing more of the brand in the digital space,” Diño said during the China-Philippines Media Tour at the company’s headquarters in Quanzhou last week.
JOMOO currently operates a flagship showroom in Quezon City and additional stores in Clark and Mexico, Pampanga.
The company plans to establish new showrooms in Makati City and Greenhills in San Juan, with one or two more locations being considered in Bonifacio Global City or the Mall of Asia complex.
Beyond Metro Manila, JOMOO is also exploring expansion into the Visayas and Mindanao.
Diño said the company already has a distributor in Cebu but has yet to establish its own physical store in the province.
“But hopefully by 2028, we will have our official stores in Cebu and Davao,” she said.
Aside from opening showrooms, JOMOO is expanding its distribution network through partnerships with major home improvement centers, hardware retailers, and provincial distributors.
The company is also strengthening its online presence following the recent launch of its official website, with plans to eventually offer products through additional e-commerce platforms.
Diño noted that Filipino consumers increasingly research products online before making purchases, making digital marketing an important part of the company’s growth strategy.
The expansion is also expected to generate employment opportunities as JOMOO increases its workforce in retail, sales, research and design, product management, and after-sales services.
Despite the gradual adoption of advanced bathroom and kitchen technologies in the Philippines, Diño expressed confidence in the local market, citing growing consumer interest in quality, durability, and affordability.
She said JOMOO offers products across different price segments, allowing the company to serve high-end, middle-income, and budget-conscious consumers.
“Filipino consumers also heavily consider the pricing and of course, the quality or the durability of a certain product,” Diño said.
The company is also promoting health-focused and environmentally sustainable technologies, including antibacterial bathroom fixtures and smart toilets capable of conducting urinalysis.
Diño said JOMOO incorporates automation and renewable energy into its manufacturing operations, with many factories powered by solar energy and equipped with robotic production systems.
“We are a green company and we value health also. So most of our factories are solar-powered and most of our products are produced by robots,” she said.
JOMOO operates more than 4,000 customized stores and over 50,000 sales outlets worldwide, with products distributed across more than 30 countries and regions in Europe, the Americas, Asia, Oceania, and Africa.
The planned Philippine expansion reflects the company’s efforts to capture a larger share of the local home improvement market as demand for modern and energy-efficient household fixtures continues to develop.
