Kapamilya actress Janine Gutierrez emphasized the significance of healthcare and having a supportive partner, as she and her boyfriend, Jericho Rosales, prioritize their health together. During a recent interview, Janine shared that they frequently discuss ways to maintain their well-being, acknowledging the physical and emotional demands of their work.
“Well, health talaga napapag-usapan namin kasi with our work, ‘yung trabaho ‘di ba medyo pisikal, puyatan and emotional din also, so talagang puhunan namin ‘yung health,” she explained. “Health is really so important to me, and I’m happy to have a partner in health.”
Janine was recently introduced as the first face of the healthcare brand iCare on June 20. The couple sparked engagement rumors earlier this year when 10 orange paraws (sailboats) with the phrase “Janine Gutierrez said yes” were seen sailing in Boracay.
At the media launch, Janine revealed Jericho’s surprise at being linked to the campaign. “Actually, wala siyang kamalay-malay na siya na ‘yung napagbintangan sa mga paraw sa Boracay. Pati siya nagulat na ‘ah okay to ha,’” she said. She praised the campaign for its message: “It’s a reminder na before you say yes to anything else, say yes to health (first).”
Janine encouraged the public to prioritize their health, stating, “Really take care of your health, live life to the fullest, and always find the best partner. At the end of the day, it’s really the people around you na talagang makakaangat sa ‘yo in times of need.”
In 2024, Jericho confirmed their relationship status, stating, “Yes, we’re going out.” He publicly acknowledged his role as Janine’s boyfriend during a tribute speech for her late grandmother, Pilita Corrales. “I’ve been so honored to just, you know, that I’ve been spending time with them, ‘cause I’m Janine’s boyfriend. Let’s just put it out there,” he declared.
