Supported by a large 1/1.28-inch sensor, this system enables deeper light capture and superior clarity for both portraits and zoomed-in scenes.
With over 140 intricately calibrated parts, the internal switching mechanism allows seamless transitions between focal lengths, unlocking a 129 percent increase in light path versus traditional telephoto modules. Whether you’re capturing close-up emotion or far-off grandeur, the result is cinema-like imagery packed with detail and dimension.
Revolutionizing close-up and low-light photography
The Pura 80 Pro brings its own strengths to the table, equipped with an ultra lighting macro telephoto camera capable of focusing as close as 5cm. This lens, with its wide f/2.1 aperture, draws in 40 percent more light than previous generations, making it a perfect tool for low-light photography and capturing textures with near-microscopic precision.

Both the Pura 80 Ultra and Pura 80 Pro are engineered to master light and shadow with a suite of high-performance imaging technologies.
The Pura 80 Ultra features a 1-inch ultra lighting HDR camera with a 400,000 e⁻ full-well electron capacity—seven times that of its predecessor. With real-time TCG-HDR technology, it simultaneously balances highlights, midtones, and shadows across varied lighting environments, achieving a dynamic range of 16EV, the highest in the industry to date.
Complemented by Huawei’s AI Cinematic Engine, this camera captures videos with striking realism and lifelike color. From bright daylight to dimly lit scenes, every shot feels true-to-life and emotionally rich.
The Pura 80 Pro, meanwhile, features a 1-inch ultra lighting main camera paired with an ultra chroma camera, delivering vivid, true-to-color night photography with unprecedented clarity.

With the Pura 80 Series, performance doesn’t come at the expense of design. The Pura 80 Ultra stuns with its Prestige Gold and Golden Black variants, accented by a striking golden ring around the camera that doubles as a bold branding statement. Meanwhile, the Pura 80 Pro arrives in Glazed Red, Glazed White, and Glazed Black, offering minimalist elegance with its “Grace of Glaze” texture inspired by timeless ceramic artistry.
Built for durability, both devices are protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass. The Ultra model incorporates Crystal Armor Kunlun Glass, offering up to 25 times better drop resistance and 16 times improved scratch resistance.
