Batac City residents benefit from one-stop government services

BATAC CITY, Ilocos Norte – Residents of Batac City availed themselves of various government services during a one-stop service activity held at the Imelda Cultural Center on Saturday, October 10, 2026.

The initiative brought essential public services closer to residents, providing convenient access to civil registration, healthcare assistance, financial education, and digital services in a single venue.

Among the services offered were free civil registration assistance and the rollout of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation’s (PhilHealth) YAKAP program, which aims to improve access to primary healthcare services.

High school students also participated in a financial literacy seminar designed to promote responsible money management, budgeting, and saving.

The activity featured GCash CITYzen’s ID profiling and free printing of generic GCash cards, providing residents with additional access to digital financial services.

The one-stop service initiative highlighted efforts to make government and partner services more accessible and convenient for local communities.
