TV host and businessman Willie Revillame is speaking out after being linked to a blind item suggesting he’s in deep financial trouble following his failed senatorial bid. The rumor claimed he was selling his private resort in Puerto Galera just to stay afloat. But Revillame says the report couldn’t be further from the truth.

In a recent interview with Cabinet Files, Revillame denied the claims, calling them part of a series of baseless reports that have long circulated about him online.

According to Revillame, he’s tired of staying silent as misleading stories continue to damage his name and confuse the public. “That resort in Puerto Galera is for personal use, not for business. And no, it’s not for sale,” he said. “Just last Friday, I was there with Kenneth Cobonpue and his team. They’re designing my new events place.”

The television host also addressed reports about him selling his Quezon City home, which used to belong to ABS-CBN executive Gabby Lopez. He confirmed that the sale happened some time ago—not recently—and that he let go of the property because it was too large for his needs.

To silence the speculation, Revillame laid out some of his most recent acquisitions to prove he is far from facing financial hardship.

Among the assets he mentioned were a twelve-million-dollar yacht, the 49th floor and penthouse of a luxury condominium in Bonifacio Global City, a brand-new Tesla Beast vehicle, and four other condo units in the same district. He also still owns the penthouse of Wil Tower, which has long been associated with his name.

During the interview, Revillame said he was en route to Dasmariñas Village in Makati to inspect a house and lot he plans to buy, signaling yet another major real estate move.

All of these, he explained, are meant to show that the reports of him being broke are nothing but falsehoods.

Revillame has largely kept a low profile in recent years after pulling back from regular television hosting and politics. He says he’s focused on living peacefully and investing wisely but felt compelled to speak out to stop the spread of misinformation.

“I’m not trying to get attention. I just want to set the record straight before more people start believing lies,” he said.

Despite the noise, Revillame says he’s content with his current life and is open to new ventures—when the timing is right.
