US President Donald Trump welcomed the signing of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement by Türkiye, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, describing it as a significant step toward closer regional security cooperation.
Trump said on Truth Social on Sunday that he was pleased to see the three countries finalize the agreement after prolonged discussions.
He said the pact reflected growing coordination among countries in the Middle East and could strengthen their ability to respond to security challenges.
Trump also congratulated the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Türkiye and Pakistan for reaching the deal.
