Team Liquid PH wins 2025 MSC, ends 3-Year title drought

Team Liquid Philippines dominated defending champion Selangor Red Giants OG Esports of Malaysia, 4-1, to win the 2025 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday (Manila time).

This marks the country’s first MSC championship since RSG Philippines won in 2022, breaking a three-year title drought.

Although Selangor Red Giants claimed the opening game in the best-of-seven series, Team Liquid PH bounced back with four straight wins to secure the championship and the lion’s share of the $1,000,000 prize pool — approximately ₱58 million.

Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya was named Finals MVP, while Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno completed his MLBB trophy collection with the MSC title.

Meanwhile, Onic Philippines defeated Onic Indonesia to clinch third place.
