Global technology brand TCL marked the successful conclusion of the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, celebrating a milestone not only for world-class sport but also for how technology can elevate the Olympic experience for athletes, fans, and broadcasters worldwide.

As a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, TCL brought its vision of “It’s Your Greatness” to life by helping deliver the drama, emotion, and excitement of the Games with cutting-edge innovation.

Throughout the event, TCL technologies played a crucial role in enhancing how audiences across the globe experienced the competition, ensuring that every moment—from record-breaking performances to emotional athlete celebrations—was captured and shared with remarkable clarity and scale.

At the International Broadcast Center (IBC), the operational hub of global Olympic coverage, TCL installed more than 330 television screens and 300 commercial display units, enabling broadcasters and media professionals to monitor every competition in exceptional detail.

These systems helped ensure seamless coverage as the Games were transmitted to millions of viewers around the world.

Beyond broadcast operations, TCL also supported athletes inside the Olympic Villages by providing smart home appliances designed to offer comfort and convenience throughout the Games.

Specially optimized display systems powered the “Athlete Moment,” a feature that enabled more than 350 heartfelt video connections between athletes and their families, allowing competitors to celebrate victories and share emotions with loved ones in real time.

The spirit of Milano Cortina 2026 was also reflected in the stories of the athletes supported by Team TCL, whose dedication, perseverance, and pursuit of excellence resonated with audiences worldwide. Their journeys embodied the deeper message behind TCL’s global campaign “It’s Your Greatness,” which celebrates the idea that true greatness extends beyond medals and podium finishes.

Reflecting on the milestone, TCL Founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng emphasized the company’s long-standing commitment to using innovation to improve people’s lives.

“Since our founding in 1981, TCL has focused on creating technology that enhances everyday experiences,” Li said. “As we complete our first year as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, we are proud to help bring the Olympic Games closer to people everywhere. Innovation is most meaningful when it helps showcase the human stories behind the world’s greatest sporting stage.”

Beyond competition venues, TCL also engaged directly with the public through immersive fan experiences across Milan. One of the highlights was the “Wishes For Greatness” Winter Wonderland, held at Piazza del Duomo during the festive season.

The installation featured sport-themed igloos and interactive displays surrounding the city’s towering 29-meter Milano Cortina 2026 tree, creating a lively space where visitors could celebrate the Olympic spirit.

Another major attraction was TCL Edelweiss Land at Piazza Duca d’Aosta, located in front of Milan’s central railway station. Spanning more than 500 square meters, the immersive technology showcase welcomed more than 91,000 visitors who explored TCL’s latest innovations, including next-generation home appliances, SQD Mini-LED televisions, and TCL RayNeo AR smart glasses.

Guests were also able to create personalized souvenirs, blending technology and creativity into a memorable Olympic experience.

TCL further collaborated with the Olympic Museum, Olympian and painter Zeina Rashid, and 3D mural artist Bublegum to create a vibrant public artwork in downtown Milan. Inspired by Rashid’s childhood memories of watching the Winter Olympics on television, the mural fused sport, art, and technology to highlight the cultural impact of the Olympic Games.

International Olympic Committee President Kirsty Coventry noted that partnerships with technology innovators such as TCL are helping reshape how the Games are experienced by audiences worldwide.

“The Olympic Games are becoming more connected, more digital, and more global,” Coventry said. “TCL technology is helping transform how people experience these moments, making the Games more immersive and emotional for fans everywhere. Our partnership is built on shared values of innovation and inspiration.”

With the Olympic Winter Games concluded, attention now shifts to the Paralympic Winter Games, scheduled from March 6 to 15. The event will feature six winter sports, including para alpine skiing, para biathlon, para cross-country skiing, para ice hockey, and para snowboarding.

TCL will also be cheering on two athletes from Team TCL: Brazilian wheelchair racer and skier Aline Rocha and Brazilian para cross-country skier Cristian Ribera, whose determination and resilience continue to inspire audiences around the world.

As TCL looks beyond Milano Cortina 2026, the company reaffirmed its long-term commitment as a Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, pledging continued investment in technology that enhances how people experience the Games—bringing fans closer to the athletes, the action, and the stories that define the Olympic movement.
