MediaTek today unveiled its most advanced smartphone chipset to date, the Dimensity 9500, a powerhouse designed to set new benchmarks in on-device AI, console-grade gaming, imaging, and energy efficiency.
Engineered with a third-generation All Big Core CPU, the Dimensity 9500 features a 4.21GHz ultra core, three premium cores, and four performance cores with four-lane UFS 4.1 storage support. This architecture delivers up to 29 percent faster single-core performance and 16 percent higher multi-core output over its predecessor—while slashing ultra-core power consumption by 55 percent at peak load. The result: longer battery life, faster responsiveness, and higher sustained productivity.

Powered by the ninth-generation NPU 990 with Generative AI Engine 2.0, the platform doubles AI compute power, introduces BitNet 1-bit large model processing (cutting power use by 25 percent), and enables always-on small models with 40 percent lower energy demand. Users gain 100 percent faster LLM generation on 3B parameters, long-context processing of up to 128K tokens, and the world’s first 4K ultra-high-resolution AI image generation on-device.
Console-class gaming and graphics
The Arm G1-Ultra GPU pushes gaming performance up 33 percent higher with 42 percent better efficiency, bringing real-time raytracing, 120FPS frame interpolation, and AAA-quality rendering to mobile. MediaTek’s work with top studios ensures compatibility with cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5.5/5.6 features such as Nanite and MegaLights for ultra-realistic visuals and immersive effects.
Next-gen imaging and video
With Imagiq 1190 ISP, the Dimensity 9500 supports 200MP capture, RAW-domain pre-processing, AI-assisted focusing, and cinematic 4K 60FPS portrait video—raising the bar for mobile photography and filmmaking.
Smarter connectivity
MediaTek’s AI-powered communication suite optimizes calls, streaming, and browsing with 10 percent lower 5G power consumption and 20 percent lower Wi-Fi energy use. The platform supports 5CC carrier aggregation for 15 percent higher bandwidth, adaptive displays via MiraVision, and ultra-low-latency multi-network intelligence.
