Raffy Tulfo’s son takes responsibility for EDSA busway violation

Quezon City 2nd District Rep. Ralph Wendel Tulfo issued an apology after his vehicle was spotted driving along the EDSA busway, a lane designated exclusively for buses, emergency vehicles, and select high-ranking officials, such as the President, Vice President, Senate President, House Speaker, and Chief Justice.

In a statement on Tuesday, Tulfo expressed regret for the incident, acknowledging the inconvenience caused to the public.

He emphasized that he accepts full responsibility for his actions and clarified that no abuse of authority occurred.

The lawmaker added that the fine for the violation has been paid, and he will also attend a seminar as part of the penalty.

Sen. Raffy Tulfo said he reprimanded his son and ordered him to apologize but emphasized that he sees no major issue with the incident, as his son did not try to avoid responsibility.

His son’s apology and the actions taken reflect his commitment to addressing the incident responsibly.
