Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Wednesday reported the arrest of four individuals and seized illegal drugs worth over Php 415,000 in two buy-bust operations on February 16, 2026.
The operations were conducted under the direction of PBGEN Randy Glenn Silvio and in line with the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) agenda of the PNP, with guidance from the NCRPO Regional Director.
In the first operation, the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU), led by PMAJ Elvin Ballesteros, apprehended a 24-year-old man known as “Marlo” from Gajudo Compound, Barangay Apolonio Samson.
Police said a poseur-buyer purchased illegal drugs from the suspect at around 8:30 p.m. following a tip from a confidential informant. A pre-arranged signal prompted the immediate arrest of the suspect.
Authorities recovered 41.12 grams of shabu valued at PHP 279,616, a white Mio Sporty motorcycle with no plate number, and the marked buy-bust money.
Later, Batasan Police Station 6, under PLTCOL Aljun Belista, carried out a separate operation at around 11:55 p.m. along Samsung Street, Doña Nicasia, Barangay Commonwealth.
Three suspects—“Mary Jane,” 30; “Jomar,” 33; and “Elmer,” 26—were arrested. Police confiscated 20 grams of shabu worth PHP 136,000, one cellphone, and the marked buy-bust money.
All four individuals face charges for violating R.A. 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
