As part of its intensified security measures for Undas 2026, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) conducted an inspection of several columbaries and transport stations along EDSA on Sunday morning, November 1, 2026, to ensure public safety and security.

Police Colonel ALBERTO GARCIA JR., Chief of the District Personnel and Records Management Division, led the inspection under the supervision of Police Brigadier General CHRISTOPHER OLAZO, Acting District Director.

Beginning at around 9:00 AM, the inspection covered Santuario de Santo Domingo Columbarium, Twin Heart of Jesus and Mary Church Columbarium, Sanctuarium Columbarium, and Our Lady of Fatima Columbarium, as well as selected Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) stations along EDSA.

The activity aimed to assess the implementation of security measures in columbaries and ensure the safety and security of devotees and visitors paying their respects to their departed loved ones. It also sought to check security arrangements in major transport facilities to protect commuters traveling during the Undas observance.

The inspection forms part of the QCPD’s continuing efforts to strengthen police visibility, monitor security conditions, and ensure a safe and orderly observance of Undas 2026.

The QCPD remains committed to safeguarding the public and providing a secure environment for everyone during this period of remembrance.
