Puregold Price Club Inc. continues to demonstrate that growth and inclusivity can go hand in hand. With its Tindahan ni Aling Puring (TNAP) program now surpassing one million active members, Puregold has evolved from a traditional retailer into a powerful catalyst for grassroots economic empowerment in the Philippines.

This transformation took center stage at the 2025 Tindahan ni Aling Puring Sari-Sari Store Negosyo Convention, held from May 15 to 17 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. The event drew nearly 50,000 sari-sari store owners and micro-entrepreneurs—marking a new milestone in Puregold’s efforts to deepen its role within the country’s micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) sector.

“Our success isn’t just about store numbers—it’s about lives uplifted,” said Ferdinand Vincent P. Co, President of Puregold. “When a sari-sari store flourishes, so does a family, a neighborhood, and ultimately, the economy. By empowering our Ka-Asensos, we help build stronger communities.

Launched 21 years ago as a simple loyalty card initiative, TNAP has grown into a comprehensive nationwide platform supporting micro-entrepreneurship. It bridges access to goods, training, community building, and digital tools. This year’s convention theme—“Piliin si Aling Puring, Kayang-Kaya Umansenso”—captures Puregold’s belief that financial mobility and national progress can begin at the grassroots, one store at a time.

TNAP offers more than just discounts. Initiatives like Mas Pinababang Presyo Araw-araw and Panalo sa Branded give members access to high-demand, high-margin products that boost profitability at the store level.

On the digital front, Puregold is bridging the technology gap for micro-retailers. Tools such as the Puregold Mobile App and P-Wallet allow store owners to manage orders, payments, and inventory digitally—equipping even the smallest businesses with the tools of a modern retailer.

More than a rewards program, TNAP serves as a strategic growth engine. By enabling one million MSMEs to act as both customers and distribution partners, Puregold has activated a grassroots sales network that reaches deep into communities across the nation—an advantage few competitors can replicate.

The 2025 convention also underscored strong partnerships with FMCG companies and suppliers, many of whom used the event to connect directly with sari-sari store owners. For these brands, Puregold offers a rare opportunity to engage at scale with a loyal and highly active retail base.

As the country continues to grapple with inflation and economic uncertainty, MSMEs—comprising 99.5% of all Philippine businesses and employing over 60% of the workforce—remain vital to resilience. Yet many still lack access to formal distribution channels, financing, or digital tools. Puregold is addressing these gaps, turning them into opportunities for shared progress.

“We’ve always believed that growth should be inclusive,” Co emphasized. “And when we say ‘Tuloy ang Asenso,’ we mean it—for our members, our partners, and the nation.”
