Nearly a thousand homes were built for Filipino families in Cabanatuan City.
For millions of hardworking Filipinos, the dream of owning a home often feels just that—a dream. But proptech innovator Lhoopa is proving that homeownership is not only possible, it’s within reach. In the first half of 2025 alone, the company more than doubled its home sales compared to last year, helping nearly 7,000 low- to middle-income families across 64 cities finally unlock the doors to homes they can call their own.
The game-changing formula? Artificial intelligence, a nationwide network of partners, and a laser focus on affordability and accessibility.
Rewriting the rules of homeownership
Founded in 2018, Lhoopa set out with a bold mission: Make affordable housing a reality for those the traditional market leaves behind. Co-founder and CEO Marco Caillot explains, “Everything we build is grounded in one belief—that every Filipino family deserves a chance to own a home without the red tape and guesswork.”
To make this vision real, Lhoopa has built a full-stack ecosystem. Using AI-powered tools to assess land potential and match properties with buyers in real time, the platform also connects users to an expanding network of contractors, brokers, and agents. Its mobile-first interface gives Lhoopa’s partners on the ground the ability to manage listings, track construction updates, and process legal documents—all from their smartphones.
But it doesn’t stop there. Buyers are guided through the entire journey, from selecting a home to applying for loans, making the process smoother, faster, and far less intimidating.

Jennifer, a church caretaker, now lives in her own home in Cabanatuan with her family.
“People want something simple, transparent, and doable,” Caillot says. “We’re here to make sure that every step—from browsing to move-in—is clear and supported.”
Real Impact for real people
Lhoopa’s typical buyer earns around ₱20,000 per month (about $350 USD)—a segment largely overlooked by conventional developers. For families like Mario and Yhang, both visually impaired massage therapists, Lhoopa was the key to finally buying a home in Laguna. For Jennifer, a church caretaker, owning a house in Cabanatuan is more than shelter—it’s stability for her children’s future.
“Malaking bagay yun sa amin na magkaroon ng sariling bahay,” Jennifer shared. “Masasabi mong investment siya para sa pamilya mo—para sa anak mo.”

Massage therapists Mario and Yhang finally found their home in Laguna through Lhoopa.
These are not isolated stories. According to Lhoopa, 75% of its clients had no access to traditional homeownership options before discovering the platform.
Scaling with Purpose
Lhoopa isn’t just selling homes—it’s building a new housing ecosystem designed to include everyone. And the momentum is only growing.
“We want more families to say, ‘This is our home,’” Caillot says. “That’s our north star. Now it’s all about scaling up—expanding our platform, empowering our partners, and bridging the housing gap across the country.”
With every home handed over, Lhoopa is doing more than moving families into new spaces. It’s restoring faith that the Filipino dream of homeownership is not only alive—but finally within reach.
