MANILA — Polish President Karol Nawrocki arrived in the Philippines on Tuesday, Oct. 6, for a three-day state visit aimed at strengthening relations between Manila and Warsaw.
Nawrocki was accompanied by First Lady Marta Nawrocka upon his arrival in the country.
The visit, which runs until Oct. 8, is the first by a Polish head of state to the Philippines and is expected to further deepen the two countries’ bilateral partnership.
Nawrocki is set to meet President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., with discussions expected to cover defense and security, trade and investment, agriculture, science and technology, information and communications technology, legal cooperation, tourism, and people-to-people ties.
The visit comes as the Philippines and Poland seek to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest and strengthen their diplomatic and economic relations.
