The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested four wanted persons, including a national-level fugitive carrying a P140,000 bounty, in separate law enforcement operations across the country on October 23 and 24, 2026.

Under the leadership of PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr., police units conducted coordinated operations targeting individuals facing serious criminal charges, including robbery with homicide, murder, and rape.

On October 24, authorities arrested a national-level fugitive wanted for robbery with homicide in Barangay Limason, Vincenzo Sagun, Zamboanga del Sur.

The suspect, whose arrest warrant carried no recommended bail, was placed under the custody of the Aurora Municipal Police Station.

Meanwhile, three regional most wanted persons were apprehended in separate operations on October 23.

In Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, police arrested Police Regional Office Bangsamoro Autonomous Region’s (PRO BAR) No. 1 most wanted person facing charges of murder, double frustrated murder, and theft. No bail was recommended for the murder-related charges.

In Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, authorities arrested PRO 1’s No. 6 most wanted person for two counts of qualified rape of a minor, with no bail recommended.

Another suspect, identified as PRO 12’s No. 10 most wanted person, was arrested in Buldon, Maguindanao del Norte, for rape by sexual assault.

The operations involved personnel from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), regional and local police units, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, Special Action Force, and other law enforcement units.

Nartatez reaffirmed the PNP’s commitment to pursuing fugitives and enforcing court-issued arrest warrants.

“Every wanted person arrested is another step toward accountability and the enforcement of the rule of law,” Nartatez said.

“Walang dapat makaiwas sa batas. Patuloy nating tutugisin ang mga wanted at titiyaking maipatutupad ang mga warrant alinsunod sa batas,” he added.

The PNP said the arrests were part of its Focused Agenda, particularly its Enhanced Managing Police Operations, aimed at strengthening law enforcement and tracking down wanted individuals.

The police organization also reiterated its commitment to intensifying operations against fugitives under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive while ensuring that arrests are carried out in accordance with the law.
