MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) arrested 21 wanted individuals, including two foreign nationals, in coordinated nationwide operations on November 2, 2026, as part of its intensified campaign against fugitives and individuals with outstanding warrants of arrest.
Led by Chief PNP Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., the operations targeted individuals ranked among the Top 1 to Top 10 most wanted persons in their respective regions. They were facing various charges, including murder, rape, sexual assault, qualified theft, and violations of laws protecting women and children.
Among the significant arrests were top regional fugitives in Eastern Visayas, Isabela, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and other areas. Several suspects were wanted for serious offenses, including murder and multiple counts of rape, with no bail recommended in some cases.
The operations also led to the arrest of two foreign nationals: a German national in Pototan, Iloilo, and a Nigerian national in Tondo, Manila. Both were wanted for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
The arrests were carried out through the coordinated efforts of local police stations, provincial police offices, regional units, and national investigative teams.
Chief PNP Nartatez reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to implementing lawful warrants of arrest, emphasizing that police operations will continue regardless of how long suspects have evaded authorities or where they may be located.
The nationwide operations support President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s peace and order agenda and align with the PNP Focused Agenda, particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO), which promotes intelligence-driven and coordinated law enforcement efforts.
