Four suspects were arrested after anti-narcotics operatives raided an alleged drug den in Magalang, Pampanga, on Thursday, authorities said.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 and Magalang Police Station carried out the buy-bust operation at around 2:11 p.m. in Barangay Sta. Lucia.
PDEA identified the alleged drug den operator only by the alias “Juju,” 20.
Three other suspects, identified by the aliases “Elvis,” 18, “Peter,” 21, and “Gelo,” 26, were also arrested during the operation.
Authorities recovered about 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php 68,000.
Police and PDEA operatives also seized assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money used in the transaction.
The confiscated substances will be submitted to the PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic and confirmatory examination.
The suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA-3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while charges for alleged violations of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared.
