Ten suspects were arrested after anti-narcotics operatives conducted a buy-bust operation in Imus City, Cavite, on Sunday morning, authorities said.
The operation was carried out at around 10 a.m. in Villa Calla, Barangay Palico I, by personnel from the PDEA Cavite and Laguna provincial offices and the Cavite Maritime Police Station.
Agents recovered 106 capsules believed to be Ecstasy or MDMA, with an estimated value of Php 180,200.
Authorities also seized suspected Kush worth Php 7,500, suspected ketamine valued at Php 5,000 and suspected liquid Ecstasy estimated at Php 4,200.
The suspected illegal drugs had a combined estimated value of Php 196,900 based on figures provided by PDEA.
Three smartphones, assorted drug paraphernalia and the money used in the buy-bust operation were also recovered from the scene.
The suspects are facing complaints under Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, including alleged conspiracy to sell dangerous drugs.
Authorities said the cases also involve alleged possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia during parties, social gatherings or meetings under Sections 13 and 14 of the law.
