In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s call to strengthen healthcare services for all Filipinos, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) have joined forces to improve medical transport access across the country.
On October 15, 2025, PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles and PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that seals their cooperation in providing Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) to qualified beneficiaries identified by PCSO.
Under this initiative, PAGCOR will donate 70 PTVs that will be distributed to various local government units nationwide. These vehicles will serve as vital lifelines for patients in far-flung and underserved communities, enabling them to be safely and swiftly transported to hospitals and healthcare facilities for urgent care.
The partnership underscores the shared commitment of both agencies to support the government’s broader agenda of improving healthcare accessibility and delivery. By pooling their resources, PCSO and PAGCOR aim to ensure that no Filipino is left behind in receiving the medical attention they deserve, regardless of location or circumstance.
