The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Wednesday denied the authenticity of a medical document circulating online about President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

The statement said the document is fake and does not come from any legitimate medical examination.

Officials emphasized that the document does not reflect Marcos’ current health status.

The office added that he remains fully capable of performing his duties and responsibilities.

PCO said the President continues to actively discharge his official functions despite the brief hospitalization.

To recall, Marcos missed a morning event on Wednesday and was recently hospitalized due to diverticulitis or a digestive condition that occurs when small, bulging pouches in the lining of your intestines become inflamed or infected.
