PAGASA: No LPA monitored for tropical cyclone formation

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that no low-pressure areas (LPAs) were being monitored for possible tropical cyclone formation as of Monday, October 26, 2026.

In its 24-hour Tropical Cyclone Formation Outlook issued at 10 a.m., the state weather bureau confirmed that no LPAs were under monitoring within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) for potential tropical cyclone development.

The latest advisory was accompanied by satellite imagery showing weather conditions over the Philippines and surrounding areas.

Despite the absence of monitored LPAs, PAGASA encouraged the public to remain updated on weather conditions and regularly check official advisories for possible developments.

The weather bureau continues to monitor atmospheric conditions and will issue updates should any weather disturbance develop.
