President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed police authorities to intensify efforts to arrest Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa while ensuring that no lives are lost during the operation, according to Malacañang.

The President reportedly instructed law enforcement personnel to act more swiftly and aggressively in carrying out their duties, emphasizing that public safety must remain a priority.

Malacañang reaffirmed its support for authorities tasked with enforcing the law, stressing the importance of conducting operations responsibly and preventing unnecessary violence.

The Palace also called for a peaceful resolution to the situation, underscoring the need to balance effective law enforcement with the protection of human life.

The directive comes amid developments involving Dela Rosa and the International Criminal Court (ICC), which has been investigating alleged crimes against humanity linked to the previous administration’s anti-drug campaign.

The administration maintained that law enforcement operations should proceed in accordance with established legal procedures while respecting the rights and safety of those involved.
