Warm and humid conditions will prevail across the country on Monday, with chances of isolated rain showers later in the day, the state weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said temperatures in Metro Manila were expected to range from 24°C to 34°C.

Similar conditions were forecast in other parts of the country, with higher daytime temperatures expected in lowland areas and cooler readings in elevated locations.

Northern Luzon areas such as Tuguegarao City were expected to experience higher temperatures, while Baguio City would remain relatively cooler.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, cities like Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao were also expected to see warm conditions throughout the day.

The weather bureau said localized thunderstorms may develop in the afternoon and evening, bringing brief rain showers in some areas.

It added that no gale warnings were raised over any of the country’s seaboards.

Forecasters also said there were no monitored tropical cyclones or low pressure areas within or near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
