A lone bettor from Metro Manila has won the PHP97.8 million jackpot in Thursday night’s Super Lotto 6/49 draw. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) reported that the winner, from Barangay Krus na Ligas in Quezon City, correctly guessed the winning combination: 25-08-05-27-18-16.
The winner has one year to claim the prize at the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City, provided they present the winning ticket and two forms of identification. Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, winnings exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a 20% tax.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 89 other bettors won PHP50,000 each for guessing five out of the six winning digits. Furthermore, 3,480 players will receive PHP1,200 each for four correct digits, while 45,480 will get PHP50 each for three correct digits.
The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles encouraged the public to support the agency’s gaming products, which help raise additional revenues for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities. Through its mandatory contributions, the PCSO assists individuals in need of medical assistance and provides funding to government institutions.
