Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ Grill Expert, has carved a historic mark on the international stage after clinching six Gold trophies at the 2025 International Business Awards (IBA). This makes Mang Inasal the only Philippine restaurant brand to achieve such a distinction this year, underscoring its leadership in marketing, digital engagement, and customer-centered campaigns.

“This is the most Gold awards we’ve ever received from a single body, and being recognized globally is both humbling and inspiring,” said Mang Inasal president Mike V. Castro. “But this WINstory is not ours alone—it belongs to our customers. From locals to tourists, kids to grandparents, every person who enjoys our Ihaw-Sarap food and Unli-Saya moments keeps us motivated to improve and innovate.”

The six winning campaigns showcased the breadth of Mang Inasal’s marketing vision. Its corporate website revamp, MANGINASAL.PH, earned Branded Utility of the Year. The nationwide Love the Flavors, Love the Philippines effort was honored as Communications or PR Campaign of the Year. The youth-centered MI UNIVerse campaign captured Youth Marketing Campaign of the Year. Meanwhile, the viral #MangInasalCreamyYESSummer initiative bagged two Golds—Influencer Marketing Campaign of the Year and Viral Marketing Campaign of the Year. Finally, #MangInasalKahitSaan triumphed as Marketing Campaign of the Year for Delivery Services.

For marketing head Allan C. Tan, the victories reflect the company’s commitment to its customers. “Every campaign starts with one question: what matters most to our customers? That focus shapes our work and ensures every touchpoint—whether in-store, online, or at home delivery—creates meaningful connections. When customers engage with us, we know we’re doing something right.”

The IBA, widely regarded as the world’s premier business awards, drew more than 3,800 nominations from 78 countries, recognizing excellence across management, marketing, PR, technology, customer service, and product innovation.

Among Philippine companies, Mang Inasal stood proudly alongside SM Supermalls, Ayala Land Inc., and Globe Telecom—brands that, like Mang Inasal, were also cited in Brand Finance’s Strongest Brands 2025 report.

Its consistent recognition, alongside its inclusion in Brand Finance’s Strongest Brands list, cements Mang Inasal’s reputation as one of the country’s most respected and influential brands.
