The Malolos City government distributed Php10,000 each to 78 families with members working abroad affected by the Middle East conflict.
Mayor Christian Natividad said the aid represents the third batch of distributions, following earlier releases to 49 households.
He noted that a total of 127 families have received financial support since the conflict began.
The city has set up a Special Help Desk to assist families with questions and provide guidance on available programs.
Natividad added that the local government can help OFWs who wish to return home but are not included in the national repatriation program.
Officials said the initiative allows families to access support while their relatives abroad face difficulties due to the conflict.
Next week, Malolos is set to provide fuel subsidies to members of the Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association and passenger jeepney drivers.
The assistance is aimed at helping local transport workers manage rising fuel costs and maintain operations.
