Las Vegas — LG Electronics has officially launched its “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” certification program, raising the bar for cloud gaming performance on smart TVs.
Headlining the announcement at CES 2026 is the debut of the Razer Wolverine V3 Bluetooth® for LG Smart TVs — the world’s first controller certified under the new program and the fastest gaming controller to date.
Developed in collaboration with Razer, the Wolverine V3 Bluetooth introduces ultra-low latency Bluetooth technology engineered specifically for large-screen cloud gaming. With a response time of under 3 milliseconds, the controller delivers near-instant input recognition, giving players precise, console-like control when gaming wirelessly on LG webOS-powered TVs.
Beyond speed, the controller integrates built-in TV controls and pro-grade gaming features, enabling seamless navigation between gameplay and smart TV functions. The result is a smooth, responsive, and immersive gaming experience designed for fast-paced action titles and competitive play — all without the need for a console.
The newly launched “Designed for LG Gaming Portal” program is LG’s effort to ensure optimal compatibility between gaming peripherals and its cloud gaming ecosystem. Certified devices are tested for superior latency, connectivity, and interoperability, ensuring they fully leverage the performance capabilities of LG’s gaming-focused smart TVs.
LG’s move builds on its growing reputation in the gaming space. Select 2025 LG OLED TV models were the first globally to support 4K 120Hz HDR cloud gaming through platforms such as GeForce Now, positioning LG TVs as a premium choice for next-generation cloud-based play.
“We are proud to introduce Wolverine V3 Bluetooth as the first controller certified for LG Gaming Portal,” said Chris Jo, head of the webOS Platform Business Center at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company. “This controller empowers gamers with the speed and responsiveness they need to stay competitive and turn fast-paced action into big wins on LG Gaming Portal.”
With this certification program and its landmark partnership with Razer, LG signals a clear ambition: to make the living room TV a true frontline platform for high-performance cloud gaming.
