Jollibee launches GameJoy combos, enters gaming scene with ‘Eat to Earn’ campaign

Jollibee has made its official entry into the gaming world—but not with a game or app. True to its roots, the homegrown fast food giant is doing what it does best: serving food.

In partnership with digital entertainment enabler UniPin, Jollibee launched GameJoy Combos, a limited-time “eat to earn” promo featuring meal bundles that come with gaming credits. Each combo includes handheld favorites like burgers or chicken sandwiches, paired with a pie, a drink, and a GameJoy card containing 10 to 200 redeemable points.

These points can be used on UniPin’s platform, which hosts over 10,000 online games including Call of Duty Mobile, MU Origin 3, and Eggy Party.

“This is our first official entry to the world of gaming,” said Jollibee Philippines president Ferns Yu.
“We know gamers hate being interrupted. I’m a gamer myself — so instead of jumping into their games, we opened our doors and invited them to ours,” he added.

Dorothy Ching, Jollibee Philippines’ vice president and head of marketing, emphasized how the brand wanted to connect with the diverse gaming community.
“So we asked ourselves: what can bring every kind of gamer together, no matter what they play? The answer: the joy of playing and the thrill of powering up,” she said.
“Jollibee wants to give gamers exactly what they need to keep going, a boost that leads to victory.”

The GameJoy combos are available now until August 15, with credits redeemable on UniPin until October 31.

Gamers praised the new campaign, including actress and gaming content creator Sharlene San Pedro.
“Nakakatuwa kasi nasa gaming world na si Jollibee,” she said.
“Sobrang happy kasi meron na kaming pambili ng mga credits, puwede nang ‘di magutom. Puwede nang kumain tapos puwede pang may skin, di ba?”
