
The Jollibee Group has marked a major milestone in its U.S. expansion with the opening of its very first store in Oregon. Located in the vibrant Tanasbourne Village Shopping Center in Hillsboro, the new branch opened its doors on May 30, 2025—welcomed by a surge of excited fans, some of whom camped out overnight just to be first in line.
Christian Aniciete, a loyal fan of the Filipino fast-food giant, arrived at the site at 12:30 PM the day before opening, enduring nearly 21 hours of waiting to claim the coveted first spot.

The Hillsboro launch smashed expectations, with first-day sales exceeding projections by an impressive 132%. Bestsellers included Jollibee’s world-famous Chickenjoy fried chicken, Peach Mango Pie, Jolly Spaghetti, and the crowd-favorite Chicken Sandwich.

The Hillsboro branch adds to Jollibee’s growing footprint in the Pacific Northwest, following successful launches in Tacoma and Seattle, Washington. The company has no plans of slowing down, with upcoming stores slated for San Francisco, California, and Queens, New York. The Hillsboro location offers dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru options, with online ordering coming soon.
