Hwang Yoona aims for back-to-back titles at ICTSI Worldwide Link Philippine Ladies Masters

Fresh off her triumph at the Indonesian Open, South Korean Hwang Yoona wants to keep her momentum alive as she headlines the ICTSI Worldwide Link Philippine Ladies Masters at The Country Club in Santa Rosa, Laguna, from February 12 onward.

The $200,000 event brings together elite golfers from the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA), Taiwan LPGA (TLPGA), and the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour (LPGT). Among those vying for the title is Yoona’s fellow South Korean Cho Jeongmin, who finished runner-up in Indonesia and is eager for redemption on Philippine soil.

Several other top-ranked players are set to compete, ensuring a highly competitive tournament. Among them is Song Ga-eun, the 2021 KLPGA Rookie of the Year and a two-time tour champion, alongside former Korean national team standout Sohn Yebeen, who ranked 33rd in the 2025 KLPGA Regular Tour seed rankings.

Adding further depth to the field are:

  • Park Ye-Ji – 2024 Korean Dream Tour champion
  • Yoo Dagyeom – U.S.-based international tour player
  • Wakui Mayu (Japan), Aoi Mako (Japan), and Chayanit Wangmahaporn (Thailand) – Top qualifiers from the KLPGA 2025 International Qualifying Tournament

The tournament will also feature a strong Thai contingent, including PK Kongkraphan, Saraporn Chamchoi, Chonlada Chayanun, Pakin Kawinpakorn, Ornnicha Konsunthea, Kamonwan Lueamsri, and Navaporn Soontreeyapas.

Representing Taiwan LPGA (TLPGA) are:

  • Li Ning Wang – Ranked No. 4 in the TLPGA
  • Chen Chih Min, Ching Huang, Chang Hsuan Ping, and Chang Yi Han

Philippines’ best golfers take on challenge

A strong homegrown contingent will also compete, led by Pauline del Rosario and Dottie Ardina. Both have international experience and have represented the country in top-level competitions.
