Grimace, McDonald’s iconic purple friend, gave Metro Manila a dose of surprise fun last July 12 and 13, popping up in unexpected places like Quezon Memorial Circle, Bonifacio Global City, and Manila. Fans were treated to cheerful meet-and-greets, photo ops, and even free gift packs during his visits, creating buzz ahead of an exciting nationwide celebration.

The fun doesn’t stop there. On July 17, Grimace is throwing a massive, one-of-a-kind party across multiple McDonald’s branches in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. From 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, guests from all over the country can join the celebration—for free.
How to join
To be part of the event, you’ll need to pre-register in person at participating McDonald’s stores by July 16. A crew member will help you scan a QR code and guide you through filling out a short online form. After registering, you’ll receive a physical invite good for one attendee. Note: You must be physically present to register. No proxies or group sign-ups will be accepted.
What to expect at the party
All guests are required to bring their physical invite on event day—no invite, no entry. Plus, attendees are encouraged to dress in purple to show their Grimace pride. Whether it’s a splash of violet or a full-on purple look, creativity is welcome!
