GoTyme targets 11 million users, major loan expansion by 2026

GoTyme Bank, backed by the Gokongwei group and one of the BSP-licensed digital banks, plans to boost its customer base to 11 million and increase its loan portfolio by at least half in 2026.

GoTyme CEO Nathanial Clarke said the bank expects to hit 10 million users by mid-2026, earlier than the five-year timeline first announced in 2022. He added that the bank is on track to finish 2026 with around 11 million customers.

Clarke said the next phase of growth will focus on expanding lending, investing options, and remittance services. Recent typhoons and earthquakes caused about 60 kiosks to go offline, slowing sign-ups, but the bank still holds 8 million users as of November 26. It aims to close the year with about 8.3 million users, adding around 250,000 to 300,000 new customers per month.

For lending, GoTyme doubled its loan book from ₱3 billion to ₱6 billion, and Clarke said they expect loan growth of over 50% next year. Over the next few years, they project steady increases in both customer numbers and financial performance.

The bank also plans to offer local stock trading in partnership with DragonFi Securities by early 2026. This follows the full rollout of crypto trading, which started with a small test group and is now open to all users.

Clarke said GoTyme users were the top new enrollees for Google Pay after its local launch on November 18. He added that the bank also aims to be ready for Apple Pay when it arrives next year.

GoTyme received its digital banking license from the BSP in August, joining five other approved digital banks in the country.
