Google has officially opened entries for the YouTube Works Awards Southeast Asia (SEA) 2025, which it is collaborating with marketing research firm Kantar for.
Now in its third year, the awards spotlight the region’s most innovative and impactful YouTube campaigns. Brands and agencies across Southeast Asia are invited to showcase how they’ve used YouTube to drive results and connect with audiences through creative video marketing.
Submissions are open from March 17 to April 30, 2025, and winners will be announced at the YouTube Works Awards SEA 2025 ceremony in October.
This year’s competition features returning favorite categories as well as new additions that reflect the fast-evolving digital media space. New for 2025 are three Agency of the Year honors:
- Media Agency of the Year – Awarded to the media agency with the most successful entries.
- Creative Agency of the Year – Recognizing outstanding creative execution and results.
- Specialty Agency of the Year – Highlighting top-performing agencies in creator marketing, influencer management, social media, social commerce/live-streaming, and MCNs.
Winners of these titles will be determined through a points-based system, with full criteria detailed in the submission guidelines and on the YouTube Works Awards website.
“In today’s market, every marketing dollar matters,” said Prep Palacios, head of industries at Google Philippines. “Brands increasingly turn to YouTube’s short and long-form formats for measurable ROI. We’re excited to honor the campaigns that raise the bar and prove the platform’s business impact.”
As in previous years, Kantar will evaluate all submissions, analyzing campaign insights and performance data to identify YouTube’s most effective and inspiring uses.
