Most parts of the Philippines will experience generally fair weather with occasional isolated rain showers on Tuesday, October 27, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres said no weather disturbances are currently being monitored inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), while the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) has stopped affecting the country.
“We are not monitoring any weather disturbance inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is no longer affecting the country,” Torres said.
Meanwhile, the northeasterly windflow affecting Northern Luzon will bring light rains over Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley may also experience isolated light rains, although no significant impacts are expected.
Torres noted that the prevailing northeasterly windflow signals the approaching northeast monsoon or amihan season.
Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country will experience generally fair weather, with possible isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized weather conditions.
PAGASA also warned that extreme Northern Luzon may experience moderate to strong winds accompanied by moderate to rough seas.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The state weather bureau advised the public to continue monitoring official weather updates for possible changes in weather conditions.
