For the first time in its nine-year history, the Ortigas Art Festival is putting Philippine cinema in the spotlight, giving audiences the rare opportunity to watch critically acclaimed, award-winning, and newly restored Filipino films on the big screen without spending a single peso.
Running until July 31 at Cinema 4 of Promenade, Greenhills, the festival’s newest attraction is a 14-day film showcase that celebrates the richness of Filipino storytelling—from timeless classics and internationally acclaimed masterpieces to groundbreaking documentaries and independent regional films.
Under this year’s theme, “Elevate,” the festival expands its Art for All mission by making world-class Filipino cinema more accessible to students, families, moviegoers, and aspiring filmmakers.
