In a candid vlog, the actress revealed that it took her eight years to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts at the University of the Philippines Diliman. This disclosure has opened up discussions about the value of education and the depth behind the comedic queen’s public persona.
For Domingo, her academic achievements remain one of her proudest accomplishments. “If there’s one decision in my life that I have no regrets about, it’s finishing my education,” she shared.

She relished every moment of her university experience, explaining that she “overstayed” because she found joy in the academic environment.
“Yes, nag-overstay ako. Ang sarap sa university eh (I overstayed. It feels so good in university),” she said.
In addition to her time at UP Diliman, Domingo also spent a year at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She specifically chose state universities because they aligned with her financial circumstances and her values.
“Mahilig talaga ko sa state university. Ayoko talagang gumastos pag nag-aaral masyado, lalo na nung college, kasi wala naman talaga kong pambayad (I love studying in state universities because it’s affordable, and I didn’t have the means to pay for tuition elsewhere),” she said.
Her decision to attend these institutions reflected her belief in making education accessible to all, regardless of economic background.
