Actress and businesswoman Ellen Adarna revealed on Instagram that her husband, Derek Ramsay, allegedly cheated on her. Sharing screenshots and a video, Ellen said she only discovered the incident several weeks ago, despite it happening early in their relationship.
Ellen explained that the alleged cheating occurred just days after they began dating years ago. “Yeah so diba that was nine days [or] ten days into the relationship. Yes, we were not married at that time yet but if he was able to do that in our honeymoon stage, how much more three months, six months, a year? God knows, right?” she said.
She added that she was shocked by the timing. “Usually dai yung babaero if they find someone and nasa honeymoon stage, makakalimutan nila yung side chicks nila and they will return to their old ways maybe in a month but this is nine days,” she explained.
When asked why she still married Derek despite the alleged incident, Ellen clarified that she only found out three weeks ago through an undisclosed source. “Duh. Nakita mo ba yun post? I said I found out about it three weeks ago like this month only. Okay? May nagsumbong sa akin so there,” she said.
Ellen said she knows who the alleged third party is but will not reveal the identity due to legal advice. She confirmed the person is not an ex-girlfriend but has been friends with Derek for decades. “As much as I’d want to reveal who this girl is, I cannot. My lawyers advised me not to–– I can get into trouble. To clarify, she is not an ex-girlfriend. She’s, I think, a side chick… But yeah, I know this girl has always been there. They’ve been friends for decades and she’s always been there,” she stated.
Ellen’s next steps remain unclear, while Derek has yet to issue an official response.
