EastWest Bank has unveiled a new way for Filipino entrepreneurs to manage their money with the launch of the BizAccess Visa Debit, developed in partnership with Visa. The all-in-one business banking solution combines a checking account, digital management tools, and smart features that make day-to-day operations simpler, faster, and more secure for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

With nearly all registered businesses in the country classified as SMEs, EastWest recognized the need for a financial solution tailored to their realities—owners who juggle multiple roles, manage staff, handle suppliers, and oversee cash flow all at once. BizAccess Visa Debit helps streamline these tasks by giving entrepreneurs full visibility and control over their funds. The system separates business and personal accounts, provides real-time transaction monitoring, and allows digital management anytime through EasyBiz Online Business Banking.

At the center of the BizAccess experience is the EastWest BizAccess Visa Debit Card, which enables secure payments for purchases, supplier transactions, and other operational expenses. Entrepreneurs can also issue up to ten additional cards to their employees, making expense tracking and approvals more efficient. Each card comes with travel accident insurance, instant transaction alerts, and access to Visa’s exclusive offers and business rewards. As an added benefit, new clients enjoy waived over-the-counter fees for deposits and withdrawals.

Every card is linked to a BizAccess Checking Account, which requires a maintaining balance of Php 25,000. Through the EasyBiz platform, entrepreneurs can pay suppliers, settle government dues via eGov, and manage their cash flow anytime, anywhere. Built-in card lock and unlock controls offer added security, while its intuitive design minimizes paperwork and manual processing—helping business owners focus less on admin work and more on expansion.

During the product launch, EastWest and Visa introduced successful Filipino entrepreneurs who embody the innovation and resilience that BizAccess aims to support. Among them were Aficionado, Bosch Car Service, Colombo Merchant Philippines, Kenzo and Kloe’s Nature Farm, and Nacho King—representing a mix of homegrown industries from manufacturing to agritourism. Their stories underscored how technology and practical financial tools can empower SMEs to scale sustainably.

“SMEs are the backbone of the Philippine economy, and we’re proud to give them the tools they need to thrive,” said EastWest CEO Jerry Ngo. “BizAccess isn’t just a card—it’s a business partner that helps entrepreneurs manage their finances with confidence so they can focus on what matters most: growing their business.”

Sid Bada, Visa Philippines Head of Clients, added: “Visa is delighted to work with EastWest in empowering Filipino entrepreneurs. BizAccess gives SMEs access to trusted, convenient payment solutions while connecting them to Visa’s global network of rewards and business opportunities.”

SME owners can now apply for the BizAccess Visa Debit Card at any EastWest Store nationwide or online. The activation process is quick and easy, with step-by-step guides available through EasyBiz. The new platform aims to redefine how Filipino entrepreneurs manage their money—turning everyday banking into a strategic advantage for business growth.
