DPWH-NCR to resume weekend road repairs in four Metro Manila cities

The Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) is set to resume its weekend road reblocking activities across key areas in Quezon City, Makati, Taguig, and Parañaque.

In a public advisory, the agency announced that road repairs will begin at 11 p.m. on Friday, June 21, and will run until 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 23. The scheduled maintenance includes both asphalt overlay and concrete reblocking on several major roads.

Here are the affected areas:

Quezon City:

  • Commonwealth Avenue: Don Jose to Odigal Street
  • Batasan Tunnel to MG Cars
  • Payatas Road: Ilang Ilang to Golden Shower, and Molave Street to Payatas Elementary School
  • C-3 Road: Bypass Road to C-3, and C-3 to D. Tuazon

Taguig City:

  • C-5 Road (southbound)
  • East Service Road

Makati City:

  • J.P. Rizal Street: Santiago Street to just before the Barangay Hall

Parañaque City:

  • Roxas Boulevard: Bayview Drive to just before MIA Road

The DPWH urges motorists to take alternative routes or use other available lanes to avoid traffic buildup in the affected areas during the repair period.
