DOST, CHED prepare Philippine technologies for global market

MANILA – The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) have prepared a portfolio of Philippine-developed technologies for industry evaluation and potential commercialization in the global market.

The initiative seeks to bring locally developed innovations closer to international markets by identifying technologies with potential for commercial adoption.

According to DOST, the portfolio will showcase innovations that could attract industry partners and create opportunities for Filipino researchers and technology developers to move their work from research institutions into practical and commercial applications.

The collaboration between DOST and CHED also highlights efforts to strengthen the link between research, higher education and industry, helping promising technologies reach a wider market.

The agencies aim to position Philippine innovations for greater visibility and potential commercialization while strengthening the country’s science, technology and innovation ecosystem.
