The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has launched Hotline 15/30, a round-the-clock nationwide service aimed at providing Filipino workers with faster access to assistance, information and support for labor-related concerns.
The new hotline replaces the agency’s previous Hotline 1349, offering a centralized platform where workers can seek help by dialing 1530 anytime, anywhere in the country.
Named after the traditional 15th and 30th monthly paydays, Hotline 15/30 is designed to simplify communication between workers and DOLE representatives, particularly those seeking assistance with workplace complaints, employment issues and labor rights.
Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino said the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to making labor services more accessible and responsive to workers’ needs.
“Ngayong araw pong ito, atin pong inilulunsad na opisyal ang 15/30. Pag-dial ninyo ng 15/30, 24/7 nationwide merong taong sasagot tungkol sa mga problema ng manggagawa,” Tolentino said during the launch.
Through the hotline, workers can raise complaints, request assistance, seek clarification on labor regulations and obtain guidance on employment-related matters without immediately visiting a DOLE office.
The department said the service is expected to improve the handling of inquiries and complaints while allowing authorities to respond more efficiently to concerns from workers across different industries.
The initiative also supports President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to strengthen public service delivery by making government assistance more accessible, efficient and responsive.
DOLE emphasized that the hotline would particularly benefit workers in remote communities who may have difficulty reaching government offices to report labor concerns or request assistance.
The agency said the service forms part of its continuing efforts to modernize labor assistance programs, protect workers’ rights and improve access to government support.
With its 24-hour operations and nationwide coverage, Hotline 15/30 is expected to provide Filipino workers with a more convenient channel for addressing employment concerns and seeking timely government intervention.
