CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) distributed land ownership documents and mortgage condonation certificates to 5,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Northern Mindanao on Thursday.
The distribution ceremony, held in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, was led by DAR 10 (Northern Mindanao) Director Zoraida Macadindang.
Beneficiaries received Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage and Certificates of Land Ownership Awards.
In addition, qualified ARBs were provided with “E-Titles” under the Support for Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) program.
Senator Francis Tolentino, a guest at the event, highlighted ongoing legislative efforts aimed at supporting farmers.
“We should not lose hope, and that is why under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the certificates were awarded,” Tolentino said.
As part of the program, DAR-10 also turned over farm machinery and equipment worth PHP2.5 million to agrarian reform beneficiary organizations, further boosting the support for farmers in the region. (PNA)
