Christmas at GH Mall feels just like the season Filipinos know by heart—full of light, warmth, and the familiar joy of being together. This spirit filled the East Wing Atrium on November 14 as GH Mall welcomed the season with its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Ortigas Land President and CEO Jose Emmanuel “Junie” Jalandoni and EVA Airways Corporation Junior Vice President Rick Hsieh led the lighting, joined by San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora and his family, Vice Mayor Angelo Agcaoili, members of the Ortigas family, and RCBC executives. Their presence underscored the mall’s vision of bringing the community together for a celebration rooted in joy, generosity, and togetherness.
This year’s theme, Holidays Around the World, transforms GH Mall into a festive escape inspired by the universal magic of Christmas. In partnership with Taiwanese airline EVA Air, the mall brings the wonder of global travel to shoppers through vivid displays, sparkling décor, and experiences that capture the excitement of exploring places beyond home.
The centerpiece is a Christmas tree with a charming Texan twist, inspired by EVA Air’s newly launched Taipei–Dallas-Fort Worth route—an exciting connection that opens even more gateways to North America for Filipino travelers. The tree lighting also served as an avenue for giving back, as Jalandoni, along with Hsieh and Mayor Zamora, handed out gifts to children supported by the San Juan City Social Welfare and Development Office.
Adding to the holiday thrill, RCBC joins the celebration with its Holidays Around the World Raffle Promo running from November 11, 2025 to January 15, 2026. RCBC credit cardholders who dine or shop at GH Mall during the promo period earn raffle entries for a chance to win EVA Air tickets to dream destinations—a perfect reward for holiday shoppers.
