Crimes in the Central Luzon have dropped by 66.36% in November, the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 reported on Monday.
In a statement, PRO-3 director, Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, said 213 eight focus crimes were recorded last month as compared to 321 incidents in October.
Classified as focus crimes are murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, theft, robbery, vehicle theft, and motorcycle theft.
Maranan said the implemented peace and order operational framework with enhanced police presence, quick response time, and counter actions against drug groups, criminal gangs and private armed groups resulted in the significant decrease of eight focus crimes in the entire region in November.
He said intensified police presence, 24/7 checkpoints, and police outposts in all parts of the region deprived criminals of the opportunity to carry out their activities. (PNA)
